Hello guys! I’m Diana, the primary writer behind Diana Met Danny. This is me with my partner in crime Danny, but we don’t always dress like this. We started this blog in November of 2015 as a way to document our lives together and share our family values with others. I’m sure as this blog continues to grow, so will our thoughts and what we write about.
Danny is from Colombia and we both met when he was a first year student in the States. He loves motorcycles and he left his old Suzuki back in Colombia with his brother. He was born in Bogota D.C. but he spent summers in the country with his family. His fondest memories are of him splashing around in a river nearby his grandmother’s farm. He was always very fond of exploring and running around in the fields nearby. His time close to nature instilled in him the value of respect for our planet and how we must take care of it.
I’m the complete opposite. I’m a New Jersey native and I’ve always lived in the city (except for a brief stint in the suburbs). I’m an animal lover; cats and big dogs are my favorites. Weird combination but at one point I did have a German Shepherd along with a very fat cat. Needless to say they didn’t get along very well. I suffered a tremendous loss a few years ago when my father died and this blog will also include memories of my father and coping techniques of how I deal with it today.
This is to all the readers out there: I’m so very happy you are on our blog. I really hope you are able to take something positive away with you when you sign off this page. I created my blog to be a positive and enlightening experience for all those who read it. Feel free to contact me and comment on our blog posts. I try my best to respond to each and every one.
